Write about something that doesn't get better

Something that doesn't get better is the black lives matter movement. The black lives matter movement is  is a decentralized political and social movement protesting against incidents of police brutality and all racially motivated violence against black people. It started when in 2012, 17-year-old , Trayvon Martin was killed by George Zimmerman, a neighbour hood watch who felt Travyon, walking home after buying a pack of Skittles at a nearby gas station, was ‘out of place’ in the middle-class area. An estimated 15 million to 26 million people participated in the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests in the United States, making it one of the largest movements in the country's history. The movement comprises many views and a broad array of demands but they center on criminal justice reform.

 Today we took a benchmark and to be honest I didn’t even read the passage I only read like a paragraph. The passage was about John F Kennedy speech but it was kind of boring so that’s what I stop reading it. Plus my comprehension skills are not the best so I doubt if I was to read the whole passage I would of understand it.

 Today we read an article about getting your license at 16. Then we drew pictures about outer comprehension about the article. I’m 16 years old and hope to get my license and car before my senior year. It seems like the process is moving slow so hopefully I can reach my goal when I want to.
