 Today we started on the novel “The Color Purple” and the story is very different from the movie so far. It’s from Celie’s point of view and she’s talking like she has no education which she didn’t. She got pregnant twice by her dad and both babies were taken away from her. She think the dad killed them or have them away. Paul said she was “spoiled” twice.

 Today we took a benchmark and to be honest I didn’t even read the passage I only read like a paragraph. The passage was about John F Kennedy speech but it was kind of boring so that’s what I stop reading it. Plus my comprehension skills are not the best so I doubt if I was to read the whole passage I would of understand it.

 Today we read an article about getting your license at 16. Then we drew pictures about outer comprehension about the article. I’m 16 years old and hope to get my license and car before my senior year. It seems like the process is moving slow so hopefully I can reach my goal when I want to.
