 Today we took notes on arguments and what types of arguments. An argument is an opinion supported by evidence. Then talked about Logos, Ethos, and Pathos. Logos is based on logic, facts, and truths. Ethos is the character or emotions of a speaker or writer that are expressed in the attempt to persuade an audience. Pathos is the emotions produced by tragedy or a depiction of tragedy.

 My name is Ty’Ana Pough, I’m from Columbus, Ga and I attend Cedar Grove High School .I enjoy doing a lot of things but one of the things is cheer. I’ve been cheering since I was four years old and it’s always been my favorite thing to do. I also like doing hair, I’ve been doing it for about a year now and I can wait to get better at doing it.  Today we took a benchmark and to be honest I didn’t even read the passage I only read like a paragraph. The passage was about John F Kennedy speech but it was kind of boring so that’s what I stop reading it. Plus my comprehension skills are not the best so I doubt if I was to read the whole passage I would of understand it.

 Today we read an article about getting your license at 16. Then we drew pictures about outer comprehension about the article. I’m 16 years old and hope to get my license and car before my senior year. It seems like the process is moving slow so hopefully I can reach my goal when I want to.
