 We did question 20 on the benchmark but I didn’t do it because I didn’t get the question. Like why are we taking so much benchmarks. This the forth one and we take eocs next week like we can’t never catch a break. Hopefully I passed all my tests next week and get some good classes next semester.

 Today all we did was take benchmark 4 questions 1-19 

 Today we read a story called “ambush”, it was about a daughter asking her dad if he ever killed anyone because he was in the army. He told her no but that’s wasn’t true, she’s only 9 years old so of course he wasn’t gone to tell her the truth. He started telling a story onto how he killed someone but wasn’t going to tell his daughter until she was old enough.

 Today we read letters 66-70 and celie finds out that fonso is not her real father. She stop writing letters to god and start writing letters to Nettie. Samuel wife thinks celie kids are Nettie’s kids and not only that she thinks they are Samuel kids too.

 Today we took a benchmark and to be honest I didn’t even read the passage I only read like a paragraph. The passage was about John F Kennedy speech but it was kind of boring so that’s what I stop reading it. Plus my comprehension skills are not the best so I doubt if I was to read the whole passage I would of understand it.

 Today we learned about black owned businesses. My mom has her own business and been having it since 2011. We had to do a PowerPoint about black owned business like hair salon, grocery store, restaurants, etc.
